Radio Rodeo: Playlist Covers2024
Challenge + Insight + IdeaI was tasked with completing a design system for RODEO Radio, a collection of Spotify playlists that showcased a personable side to the agency.
A key insight from the brief was that the design needed to reflect the agency’s unique, energetic character while still adhering to a polished and refined aesthetic, maintaining a sense of professionalism whilst evoking an emotional response. This led to an idea to create a system that could balance these two elements, ensuring the playlist felt both dynamic and credible.
Design Mechanics + Response
By developing a versatile grid framework that allows for interchangeable typographic elements for each playlist, paired with a straightforward photographic treatment against a solid color background, we significantly streamlined the content update process. This approach enabled us to efficiently swap out visuals, making the publishing of new compilations faster and more flexible.
